Android 11 Easter Egg: How to play the game that Google has hidden in your smartphone

Android 11 - like all previous versions - hides an Easter Egg, a fun nod from the developers. We explain how to activate the game hidden in the twists and turns of the operating system.

It's almost become a tradition: Google teams hide a little game in each new Android version. Initially, the Easter Eggs were simple winks but they have become more complex over the years. The Android 11 one is a kind of reboot of the game that was included with Android 7.0 Nougat. It consists of attracting virtual cats and collecting them on your smartphone.

How to activate the hidden game in Android 11 on your smartphone see the game you must first activate it with a succession of manipulations in the system parameters:

• Go to Settings> About smartphone> Android version 11
• Tap on Android version 11 until a big green button appears
• Turn the knob from minimum to maximum three times

• A notification at the bottom of the screen shows a cat emoji - you're on the right track!

• Press and hold the physical On / Off button on your smartphone or tablet until the menu is displayed
• Touch the three vertical dots then go to Add Controls
• Go to Show other apps
• Select Cat Controls

• Check the three controls that appear then tap Save
• Return to the on / off menu
• If Cat Controls are not showing, tap the three dots in the button section and select Cat Controls

To play : 

• Go to the on / off menu and select an action to interact with your virtual chats

Do you want to feed the cats, drink, or just play? Select an action, and a chat will appear shortly in a notification. Touch the notification to add it to your chat collection. Occasionally other cats should drop notifications, as long as this Easter Egg is active.
